Artist Statement

"In terms of my own movement practice, I am very interested in approaching movement from a research perspective that relies on the sensations of the body and somatic imagery to generate new modes of movement for myself. I am interested in exploring how I relate to the ground and to nature. I am interested in challenging my physicality, and observing how physical strength allows for a more effective movement practice. I am interested in using this research, along with improvisational practices, to generate set movement material."
